Hammers: Quality felt is important when making quality pianos. Pearl River hammers are made with high quality felt from the most respected German felt manufacturers like Wurzen™, resulting in superior tone and durability. Inferior felt can result in disappointing sound and unpredictable durability over time.
Multi-ply Hard Rock Beech Pinblocks: The quality of a piano’s pinblock will determine its tuning stability. Pearl River employs the best hard beech wood, arranged in layers of alternating grain directions designed to grip the nickel-plated tuning pins firmly and hold them in place. Their quality pinblocks mean that your piano will stay in tune longer, the importance of which cannot be understated.
Finish: Pearl River’s finish is applied using a patented “Static & UV Processes”, which gives their pianos a more durable and fade-resistant topcoat.
